CORDYCEPS
STUDENT FILM
Before graduating from the Cleveland Institute of art students are expected to work on a year long thesis and present it to graduate. Cordyceps is my thesis film made with my teammate Vivian Duvall.
Although we have our individual roles, we are working together to make this film a successful commentary on what negative impacts technology and human expansion have on the environment.
Here is our work book of this year long project!
I specifically worked on Modeling/ UV Unwrapping (Maya), Texturing (substance painter), Set dressing (blender), and animation (Maya)

BLENDER SET DESIGN
Using the blender library we were able to optimize set design using all the assets I created, each set had multiple shots in it. Showing off the environment was a crucial set in our creative process to amplify our thesis to the audience
ROUGH DRAFT RENDERS
Using a custom compositor node tree made in blender, I was able to change color properties to match our final output to the color script I made, highlighting the tonal changes and emotions throughout the film. Moving from a traditional 3d film render to be more colorful, painterly, and simple
